Parent and Tot (Daytime, Evening, and Weekend Options)

Enjoy an enthusiastic and fun-filled program for boys and girls 18 months to 3 years of age, complete with music, circuits, and games! This 45-minute parent-assisted class is designed to introduce structured activity to very young children through the sport of gymnastics. Parents (one parent per child permitted in the gym) must be prepared to actively assist in their child’s participation with instructor’s guidance. Class is 45 minutes, once per week.

 

Preschool (Daytime, Evening, and Weekend Options)

Ages 2 to 3 years; both boys and girls. 
 Boys and girls will explore and learn the six fundamental movement patterns used in gymnastics: Statics, Landings, Rotations, Swings, Springs, and Locomotions.  Children will follow the instructions of a coach without their parents’ participation on the various gymnastics apparatus- vault, bars, beam, floor, parallel bars and trampoline- in “Kid Size!”  Class is 45 minutes, once per week.

 

KinderGym (Evening and Weekend Options)

Ages 3 to 4 years; both boys and girls. 
 An introduction to the basics needed to start learning the building blocks/skills in gymnastics. Children will explore and learn the six fundamental movement patterns used in gymnastics.  They will follow the instructions of a coach without their parents’ participation.  Classes begin with a fun warm-up followed by a progressive skills program in each of the gymnastics apparatus. Class is 45 minutes, once per week.

 

Beginner: Burgundy & Red CanGym (Evening and Weekend Options)

This program is designed for most children who are just beginning gymnastics. Participants will be taught skills as outlined in the first two levels of the CanGym Badge program and will receive a progress report at the end of the session.  Each badge will be complete once ALL skills are mastered on the level.

Ages 5-8 years; both girls and boys.  Class is one hour, once per week.

Ages 9-12 years; girls only.   
Class is 90 minutes, once per week.

Ages 7-12 years; boys only. 
 Class is one hour, once per week.

 

Novice: Tan & Bronze CanGym (Evening and Weekend Options)

Execution and perfection are emphasized in the third and fourth levels of the CanGym Badge program.  They will receive a progress report at the end of the session and a badge once ALL skills are mastered.  Athletes progress at their own pace, and will continue to the next badge level as skills are assessed.

Ages 5-8 years; both girls and boys.  Class is 90 minutes once per week.

Ages 9-12 years; girls only.  Class is 90 minutes once per week.

Ages 7-12 years; boys only.  Class is 90 minutes once per week. 

 

Intermediate: Purple & Blue CanGym (Evening and Weekend Options)

***2x/week is recommended***

Recreational gymnastics classes for girls and boys working at the Purple and Blue levels in the CanGym Badge Program who are ready for an added challenge while remaining recreational.  85% of skills must be mastered to receive a badge.  Athletes progress at their own pace, and will continue to the next badge level as skills are assessed. Class is 1.5 hours. Two classes per week are recommended for muscle development necessary to perform skills at these levels.  There is a 10% discount when registering for a second class.  This program may be a strong bridge program for a competitive candidate.

Ages 5-8 years; both girls and boys.  Class is 90 minutes, once or twice per week.

Ages 9-12 years; girls only.  Class is 90 minutes, once or twice per week.

Ages 7-12 years; boys only.  Class is 90 minutes, once or twice per week.

 

Advanced:  Turquoise & Silver CanGym and up (Evening and Weekend Options)  ***2x/week***

Recreational gymnastics classes for girls and boys working at the Turquoise level or higher in the CanGym Badge Program, who are preparing for more challenging skills while remaining recreational.
85% of skills must be mastered to receive a badge.  Athletes progress at their own pace, and will continue to the next badge level as skills are assessed.  Two classes per week are recommended for muscle development necessary to perform skills at these levels.  There is a 10% discount when registering for a second class.  This program may be a strong bridge program for a competitive candidate. 
Class is 2 hours, twice per week.

Ages 8+ years; girls only.  Class is 2 hours, twice per week.

Ages 8+ years; boys only.  Class is2 hours, twice per week.

 

Teen Girls

Gymnastics at the introductory level or higher, depending on individual skills.

Age 13+ years; girls only.  Class is 90 minutes, once per week.

 

Tumbling Classes

This program is for the dancer or cheerleader who is interested in improving or advancing his or her tumbling skills.

Age 8+ years; girls and boys.  Class is 1 hour, once per week.

 

Adult

Gymnastics at the introductory level or higher, depending on individual skills.
  Participants will learn skills of their interest on apparatus at their own pace, and comfort level.

Age 18+ years; Co-Ed.  Class is 60 minutes, once per week.
